Wright was a male Human, an enlisted Starfleet engineer who served on the USS Enterprise under Captain Christopher Pike in the 2250s.

Wright was on duty in engineering in 2254 when the Enterprise was boarded by violent Vulcans from the Last-of-all-Cities colony on Darien 224. He was almost killed by one of the Vulcan attackers but was saved by the Enterprise's chief engineer Moves-With-Burning-Grace. (EV comic: "Cloak and Dagger, Part 2 of 2")
