The xB, short for ex-Borg, is the term for the group of individuals liberated from the Collective.
In 2386, Icheb, now a Starfleet lieutenant, had his Borg implants surgically removed while conscious. Seven of Nine, a fellow xB, arrived too late to save him, and euthanized him at his request. PIC episode: "Stardust City Rag"
In 2399, a group of xBs and Romulans were part of the Borg Reclamation Project on the Borg cube dubbed "the artifact".
