Xanadu was a 23rd century Federation scout starship.
Service history[]
In 2268, while surveying the Tareel star system, Xanadu was snared by a planetary defense system's tractor beam and crashed on Tareel III. The USS Enterprise was dispatched to locate the missing scout and recovered crash survivors on the surface. (TOS - FASA RPG short story: "Roleplaying in the Final Frontier")
