The Xenobiological Probability Study was a research program initiated by the University of Luna on Stardate 0/5706. It was done so on behalf of the United Nations of Terra in order to determine the likelihood of encountering a non-humanoid extraterrestrial species. The scientists at Luna concluded in their study that mathematically there was a low probability that Humans would encounter an intelligent non-humanoid race in the century.
