Ximega I was a planet located in or near Federation space in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the first planet in orbit of the Ximega star system.
History and specifics[]
Ximega I was once inhabited by a race known as the Ximegans. At some point in the 22nd century, Ximega's local star went nova and the planet was destroyed. Fortunately, some portion of the Ximegan culture survived thanks to Doctor Prekraft, a scientist who had recorded everybody's physical and mental patterns, encoded them into holograms, and launched them off planet, before the nova claimed them all.
