Yerma sauce was a type of sauce used in food preparation by the traveling chef Neelix in the galaxy's Delta Quadrant.
History and specifics[]
In the year 2371, Neelix was preparing demi-smoked phu with yerma sauce in the mess hall of the Federation starship Voyager. His efforts were slightly disrupted by galley volunteer Paul Fairman burning a paga stew and not attending the phu, but beyond needing to refine the yerma sauce for being too watery, he considered the effort a success.
