Yindi Holden was a 23rd century Human, a Starfleet captain assigned to the Federation science ship USS Dorothy Garrod.
Biography[]
She was of Indigenous Australian descent and had attended Wollongong University. In the year 2257, Holden and her crew were captured by Orion pirate, Virra. (DSC novel: The Way to the Stars; DSC comic: "Captain Saru")
- Her name is a reference to Yothu YindiWP, an Australian musical group with Indigenous and balanda (non-indigenous) members that was active during the late 20th and early 21st century.
