Yklem was a 24th century Kinshaya who held the title archbishop, and in the 2380s decade of the First Splinter timeline served as commanding officer of the Tenth Holy Kinshaya Attack Fleet and its flagship.

In the year 2381, he directed the defense of Krios against the attacking Klingon Fifth Fleet. He was killed when the flagship was destroyed. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)
