Yudoo

The Yudoo are a civilization that comes from the planet Yudoo, in the galaxy's Delta Quadrant. This species is known to the Talaxian traveler, Neelix. The entire economy of the Yudoo people depends on the harvest of the Mochana shoot. Unfortunately, the plant is very often guarded by the fierce ailurus lizard. Over a hundred thousand Yudoo are killed yearly in the harvest. The entire population, once numbering in the hundreds of millions, now only amounts to only forty-two very lucky people.
