Za'dag was a soldier in the Breen Confederacy during the Dominion War and was instrumental in the Breen attack on Earth in 2375. He took control over Orbital weapon platform DP-7 and used it attack the Starships USS Columbia and USS Enterprise-E as they responded to the crisis. He was killed by Jean-Luc Picard.
