Lieutenant Zaena Harding was a 24th century Human serving as an officer in the Federation's Starfleet in the 2370s decade.
Biography[]
In the year 2372, Harding was posted to the starship USS Slayton as a communications officer under the command of Captain Karen Blaylock.
The Slayton was ordered to Chiaros IV for a diplomatic mission. Not long after their arrival at the planet, a powerful shockwave shook the Slayton. They managed to pinpoint its origin and Captain Blaylock decided to investigate. When they approached the source, the Slayton crossed into a massive cloaking field and was heavily damaged. Soon after, it was destroyed by a Romulan warbird. Harding perished with the rest of the crew. (TNG - S31 novel: Rogue)
