Zalkatian

Zalkatian refers to the people and culture of the Zalkat Union, which extended across a large portion of the Alpha Quadrant circa 90,000 BCE. Malkus the Mighty was the tyrannical leader of the Zalkatians. (ENT - The Brave and the Bold, Book One short story: "Prelude: Discovery")

It is unclear if there was a Zalkatian race, or if the term is solely political/cultural.
