Zane Grey (31 January 1872 – 23 October 1939) was an Earth author best known for his popular adventure novels and pulp literature that presented an idealized image of the rugged Old West. As of June 2007 Grey was credited with 110 films, one television episode, and one entire television series based on his novels and stories.
