The Zentarian system was an otherwise unnamed star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

The Zentarian system consisted of a primary B class blue star, five planets, 8 moons and at least one asteroid. All planetary orbits were highly elliptical, forming no orbital plane. Two of the planets were capable of supporting life. A turbulent radiation field known as the Void of Storms was located on the outskirts of the system.

A star chart plotted four orbital paths, with the outermost orbit being shared by two planets. The 1st and 3rd planets each had one moon, while the 2nd, 4th and 5th planets each had two moons. The chart did not identify which one was the inhabited world Zentar.

In the year 2267, the Federation starship USS Enterprise discovered and charted the system. It encountered the Void of Storms, then made first contact with the Zentarians. (TOS comic: "The Void of Storms")
