Zephiathon Malar was a Gorn, a pirate who played up a "gallant outlaw" image.
Biography[]
Because of this image, he was a folk hero among a number of Gorn worlds on the outer rims of their territory.
He first targeted only Gorn vessels, but began making raids against Federation shipping.
His fleet was comprised of sixteen ships, only three of which were strong enough to face a Galaxy-class [explorer]] starship. As his fleet grew, his crews ceased being comprised solely of Gorn and began to include some of the galaxy's worst riff-raff. (Last Unicorn RPG module: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Core Game Book)
