The Zeron system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including second planet Zeron II. In the year 2265, the Federation starship USS Enterprise passed Zeron II on its way through the Sigma system. The Traveler, who was visiting the planet at the time, detected the starship's passing and transported himself on board. (TOS comic: "Dark Traveler")
