Zeta Alpha is a star system located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. (TNG video game: Birth of the Federation)

History and specifics[]

Zeta Alpha is the location of a planetary system, the orbit of which includes the second planet, Zeta Alpha II. (TNG episode: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part I"; ST reference: The Star Trek Encyclopedia; TNG video game: Birth of the Federation)

By the 2270s or 2280s, the Zeta Alpha 1 R1 Artisan-class micro-circuitry manufacturing facility space station was operational in the system. (FASA RPG module: Regula-1 Orbital Station Deckplans)

In TNG video game: Birth of the Federation, the orbital configuration of the game map star systems was randomly generated each time a new game started.
This system's name simply contains two Greek language letters: zeta and alpha, without any other stellar notation system's point of reference regarding its location.
