Zettin was a life-capable asteroid located in the Zentarian system of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics[]
Zettin had a breathable atmosphere, was roughly spherical, and orbited at the outskirts of the system. It supported fields of grass with terrain including plains and mountains. Zentarian criminal scientist Zar and his allies built a fortified outpost on Zettin that included an invasion rocket fleet, underground launch facility, and a hangar for thousands of Zentarian robots.
In the 2250s or 2260s, following a failed coup attempt on Zentar, Zar was exiled there, but his robot army retreated to the outpost. Zentarian technicians then created the the Void of Storms radiation field to quarantine Zettin.
In 2267, Zar escaped exile and returned to Zettin aboard the stolen USS Enterprise shuttlecraft NCC-1701/5. Captain James T. Kirk launched a full-scale assault on the fortress with Galileo (NCC-1701/1), NCC-1701/3, and another class F shuttlecraft. The shuttles were able to destroy the outpost before the invasion fleet could be launched. (TOS comic: "The Void of Storms")

Background[]
While this object was called an asteroid in "The Void of Storms", by definition — being spherical with its own atmosphere — it would more accurately be described as a dwarf planet.
