Zink was a 23rd century Human woman, a Starfleet officer who served as a yeoman in ship's stores aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise under the command of Captain James T. Kirk in the 2260s.
Biography[]
Zink was a chatterbox gossip with a grating voice. A string of ex-roommates had transferred to new quarters, including Ensign Tracy Giacomo. (TOS novels: Ghost-Walker, Crossroad)
In the year 2268, Zink boisterously described particulars about a former roommate's love life in the ship's recreation room. Around the time of the ship's first visit to Midgwis, Zink's most recent roommate had just switched quarters. (TOS novel: Ghost-Walker)
In 2270, memories of an encounter with a time traveling Nautilus were removed from the crew's minds, resulting in some nonsensical memories. Zink thought she'd learned about past lives and had an out-of-body experience during this time. (TOS novel: Crossroad)
