Zogozin was the Gorn Ambassador to the United Federation of Planets in 2379. Federation President Min Zife of Bolarus attended a diplomatic reception on Luna with Zogozin and Romulan Ambassador T'Kala; while he found Zogozin very intimidating, he found T'Kala even more so. When the Borg Invasion of 2381 reached a critical stage, President Bacco called an emergency summit on Earth hoping to convince the various ambassadors to pledge support to an allied fleet to defend against the invading Borg Collective. Zogozin initially voted to not support the allied fleet, but Bacco later met separately with the ambassador and reminded him that the Gorn Hegemony benefited from joining the Federation Alliance during the Dominion War, and would do so by joining this fleet. In 2391, during a peace conference with the Klingon Empire on Deep Space Station K-7, he was seriously injured by a bomb hidden in a serving cart. Although Starfleet Security was able to track down the party responsible, the attack successfully undermined the peace conference. (ST website: The Path to 2409)
