For other uses, see Zorn.

Zorn was a 23rd century Human man. He served in Starfleet as a security officer aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the 2270s.

History[edit | edit source]

In 2273, Ensigns Zorn and Todd joined James T. Kirk, Spock and Leonard McCoy in the transporter room on a rescue mission to Andrea IV. Interference with a solar energy field overloaded the transporter, but Montgomery Scott was able to rematerialize the landing party safely on the surface.

Zorn and Todd explained to 200 Andrean villagers that they were to be evacuated in order to avoid an approaching cloud of deadly Vega radiation, but the Andreans refused to leave.

Ancient statues of Kirk, Spock and McCoy had been found on the surface. When one of the natives began a physical transformation, Zorn and Todd stood guard outside the base of the statues while the rest of the landing party followed the native through an entrance. (TOS comic: "Tomorrow or Yesterday")
